One day this week, a plumbing line on our pool system started leaking. I called A&M after finding the number through a Google search. I found that the service was very delightful and thorough. This situation was pressing because we have 2 pool parties planned this week. Now, understanding how service works in business, I knew that my failing system does not constitute an emergency on the part of another. With that being said, I was hoping that they could get to my pool issue before the day of the party. When talking with Mr. Thomas he was so kind and helpful and wanted to get my problem taken care of as soon as possible. He did exactly that! Within hours of my initial call my issue was fixed correctly and some nice pool tips were shared along the way.
In a world where people don't have to be nice and the art of professionalism is lost, the least we can do in responding is say "THANK YOU!"

The technician I can’t remember his name who came to repair my pool were highly skilled and knowledgeable. They arrived on time, equipped with all the necessary tools and equipment. Throughout the entire process, they communicated effectively, keeping me informed of the progress and any unexpected findings.

These guys are great! During the ice storm, my regular pool guy wouldn’t help me, all I needed was the pool equipment turned off and drain. I used him for three years and I am handicapped thus can’t do much of anything. Called A & M, they came out that day, did everything needed and were the nicest people. I can’t say enough good things about them. They were very fair in their pricing and they have my business for as long as they want it!!! Thank you so much, and God bless you all!!!

My pool had extensive damage from the winter storm in February. After several failed commitments from other pool companies I found A&M Pool Service. Thomas was immediately responsive and went to work on solving my issue. He secured the equipment needed and had his guys out in a short period of time. They were very efficient and had me up and running in just a few hours. I highly recommend A&M Pool Service.

A&M Pool Service is one of the few companies left today that provides world class customer service with integrity and attention to detail. I needed my pool pump and booster pump replaced, sweeper serviced, and filter cleaned. They came out within two days. Not only did they do the work, but Tom, the owner took the time to explain things to me and educate me on the entire system. A week later one of the pipes was leaking, and Tom came back out to troubleshoot it with me and get it fixed. The folks at A&M Pool Service are professional, polite, and very informative. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND A&M POOL SERVICE!

I was in a bit of a pickle. My pool pump went out and my home warranty which will remain nameless, AMERICAN HOME SHIELD, Claimed they could not find an available vendor to dispatch. I lived in a remote area. They wouldn’t respond to my request for service, each time I called I was on hold forever only to speak to outsourced call centers who couldn’t commit when I would be contacted by a vendor. After five days I called A and M Pool service and repair, explained my situation. By that evening the owner sent his nephew who lived nearby and fixed my pump. Thomas, the owner was very professional, personal and extremely responsive. He genuinely cares about his customers and goes above and beyond. I highly recommend Thomas and A and M Pool Service and Repair.

They came out, and quoted the job. I accepted the quote,(without any haggling over price. ) I agreed to pay for them to rent the equipment they needed upfront.($150 for a pump and pressure washer) I personally have both, but I don't like to haggle over little things, and $150 wasn't unreasonable.

I then made the mistake of asking when they would be starting, and at what time to expect them to arrive on Monday,as Steven had said it would be next week when they could start. Thomas got offended, because I told him that I'd like to know when they would be arriving, and that if he told me 9am, and somebody didn't show up (without a phone call) until 3 PM, that I would be upset. I told him that it didn't matter what day or time he told me, just as long they arrived at that time(give or take 30 mins). I've never had a contractor get offended over that request. I told him that if something happened and they would be late, all he had to do was shoot me a text message.

For the record, this was my first contact with this company and this wasn't a simple pool cleaning. There where repairs that needed to be made, the pool needed drained and cleaned, and a leak found.

The reason this is so important to me, is my wife's health, she has numerous doctors appointments/therapy sessions every week. She has a tennis ball size tumor in her brain. If I have contractors coming, and I need to have my parents drive 45 mins to get here to take her to a doctors appointment, I want to make sure the contractor shows up when he/she says he/she will. I explained this to Thomas.

Having owned my own IT company and Santa Claus and Photography company for over a decade, I would never get so offended and upset over such a request. In fact, I gave my IT customers a 1 hour window for our arrival, and if my guys where going to be outside the window (even 5 mins), they would call the client, or have me call. Or our other business, timing was crucial, so we got there early, and where prepared to start exactly the time the client wanted, if not earlier.

It's simple respect. If someone can't agree to show up when they say they will, why should I expect them to do the work they say they will?

This happened yesterday evening,(10/18) this morning I get a voicemail/text messaging telling me that he no longer wants to do the job.

I was really impressed with this company, until this. I never would have imagined that asking someone to show up when they say they will was offensive.

So beware, if people doing what they say they will is important to you, this isn't the company to go with.

I have used A and M Pool Service and Repair several times and only have great things to say about this company!! Every time I call Thomas(the owner) will make sure to help you over the phone before sending someone out to fix something. All of the repairs they have completed were great quality, his service people are amazing. I called today(a Saturday) to just let them know I needed them to come out next week. Thomas called me back and talked me through some things we could try to fix the problem, NO CHARGE!! This does not normally happen, other companies would just send out a repair guy and charge a service fee. This company is so honest and helpful and I would 100% recommend them for excellent pool service and repairs!!
